Our Amish Furniture Hickory and Oak Bentwood Rocker is built using Hickory saplings for the frame and Oak slats for the back and seat. The sapling are steamed and formed to make this traditional rustic rocking chair. The back and seat are contoured to give you great comfort while you are relaxing in your camp, cabin or home.
It is finished using hand rubbed linseed oil. This is a great finish to help preserve the wood and keep it from drying out, especially for outdoor use. It can be reapplied similar to furniture polish to maintain and preserve the natural wood furniture. It won't flake off or dry out like some varnishes.

Piece of Art
This rocking chair is skillfully crafted and just so beautiful! In1993, I had purchased an almost identical one, which is in perfect condition despite years of use. I could not phantom the thought of anything happening to it and decided to buy another. I cannot be happier with my current purchase. Each rocking chair is numbered, signed and dated by its maker. Assembly of rocker skis took two minutes, which I attribute to precise craftsmanship. I am very fond of these rockers and find them to be very comforting.

Beautifully made rocker, perfect back support
A version of this rocker literally saved my vacation last fall when I threw my back out. The shape of the back support was ideal for aligning my spine and when home I decided to hunt one down. This version is much smaller than the one in the Maine cabin however these are the most comfortable rockers I've ever sat on when healthy and just ideally crafted to provide back support and facilitate exit when crippled. In fact my 6'3" husband's lower back is enjoying it today as I type. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

You just can’t beat the quality of Amish furniture! We particularly enjoy the comfort and casual style of the rocker. My neighbors had purchased one, so I knew the quality I could expect. Delivery to my home was unexpectedly quick, despite the challenges of COVID-19! I had it in 3 business days! Well worth the investment.

Somewhat Small
The rocker is very well built as expected, but the size could be a couple inches wider and a few taller. It fits nicely for a small woman, but is a bit tight for me. I bought this for myself for Father's Day.
